As of November 2008, Peacheys Engineering was acquired by LaserBond Ltd based in Ingleburn, NSW. Since it’s formation in 1992 LaserBond (formerly HVOF Australia) has been providing a unique portfolio of surfacing and reclamation services (including Laser Cladding and a range of thermal spray processes including HVOF – High Velocity Oxy Fuel) to a range of industries, improving the performance and service life of wearing components, refurbishing components already exposed to wear, and providing advice, service and support to maintenance managers, plant managers and engineers. LaserBond’s technologies are backed up by a full metallurgy laboratory to ensure that every aspect of part refurbishment or improving the wear life of a critical component can be evaluated to ensure complete reliability and client satisfaction.
The company started out as Peachey’s Engineering in 1981. This Gladstone owned and operated family company has consistently provided a wide range of engineering services to industry for almost 27 years. Peachey’s reputation for unsurpassed quality, reliability and service has been earned by our total commitment to servicing our client’s needs and our ability to react promptly to meet their deadlines.
