We have 3 CNC and 1 NC milling machines that combine to offer a comprehensive range of equipment that can handle precision small components to large complex milling.

CNC Elgamill - Long Bed

Table Size: 10,000mm x 1200mm
Longitudinal Travel: 8,000mm

This machine is our flagship piece of equipment being the largest CNC milling machine in Central Queensland. With it’s long bed, it allows the setup of 2 or even 3 jobs at once which reduces setup times and allows priority or breakdown work to be completed without additional costs for interruption. The machine is also setup alongside a workshop door which allows jobs of any length to be positioned on the machine. The key advantage of this machine is the job remains stationary with the column moving along the bed. This removes weight restrictions on jobs and with our 10 & 5 ton overhead cranes, there are not many milling, drilling or boring jobs that this machine cannot handle.

Mazak VQC/20/40B

This machine is suited to small precision items, either small or large quantities. It also has a 4th axis which allows complex milling whilst reducing setup times.

We have recently ordered this CNC mill to improve productivity and precision in general production work. This is the latest technology from Mazak and will also have 4th axis capabilities.

This is our NC milling machine that is suited for simple milling and drilling applications such as drilling holes on PCD, keyways, rectangular pocket milling, etc. It also has a universal head which allows milling or drilling at any angle possible. This is a cost effective machine for jobbing work that does not require CNC operations.
