CNC Turn / Mill

We have 3 CNC lathes operational that are capable and equipped for jobbing work or contract machining work. All machined are data linked to enable offline programming and storage of all job files for repetitious orders. These machines combine to offer a comprehensive turning ability and capacity.

Mazak Nexus 250

Max Diameter: 380mm

This machine is the most recent technology offered by Mazak for CNC turning. It offers spindle speeds of 4000rpm with rapid toll change and quick-travis on all axis. These options combines to reduce machining time whilst offering unquestionable precision and accuracy. Mazak programming is suitable for small quantities and also offers efficient tool paths for production work with large quantities.

Mazak Quickturn 20 Lathe

Max Diameter: 360mm
Max Length: 1100mm
Hollow spindle: 56mm

This machine is predominantly used for CNC jobbing work that have smaller quantities with simple processes. It is also available for large productions runs of items requiring threading and basic turning.

Leadwell LTC 30CPL Lathe

Maximum Swing: 650mm dia.
Hollow Spindle: 127mm
Between Centres: 1,300mm

This is our largest capacity CNC lathe suited for manufacturing itmes for heavy engineering equipment. It is capable of holding 850kg in the chuck and up to 2 ton between centres. It also has a large hollow spindle suitable for threading pipes and turning operations of long lengths of precision bar.
